Last weekend I threw Brandon a surprise birthday party for his 21st birthday. It took every ounce of me not to tell him. It was so hard to keep it to myself! But I restrained myself and didn't let him know anything. He thought we were going to dinner at his brothers...but little did he know. The party turned out really good! Had food, dessert, games, gag gifts, and just plain old fun!
While everyone was hanging out, I went downstairs to change Jax. I was just about to change him, when Aunti Eva decided to tickle him. He let out a giggle! A real one! Cutest thing ever! Brandon soon joined and got to see him do it. I just love watching him learn & do new things! Nothing is better then the joy & happiness it brings me and Brandon, to watch him grow.
There's not too much going on lately with us. Jaxton is enjoying every minute he gets to sit in his BUMBO seat. He's been learning to grab and hold onto things. His rattle he shakes every now and then. Jax has out grown all of his 3 month old sleepers already! He'll be 3 months this Saturday! Growing like a weed! We went to the clinic yesterday to have him weighed. He rang in at 14 pounds 8 oz. While we were there I decided to step on the scale, to see if I was anywhere near my goal weight. Before I was pregnant I weighed around 122 pounds. Being pregnant I had gained about 43 pounds. After having Jax I've been wanting to get down to 135ish pounds. And I've reached that goal! I weighed in at 132 (I don't mind sharing...I'm proud of it)! CHA CHING!
